Spring 2026

Spring 2026 is a floor-length season. Almost everything in it is a gown; the short dresses that usually sit alongside them are barely here at all.

The shapes

Fitted is the dominant cut by a wide margin, with A-line, ball gown and mermaid behind it. Strapless is the neckline the season keeps returning to, with keyholes and halters where a style wants something at the shoulder. A slit runs through a great many of them, and the corset bodice is close to a signature.

Fabric and finish

Lace leads, then chiffon and satin, with stretch fabrics through the fitted styles and taffeta and brocade on the fuller skirts. Prints are everywhere this season, florals especially. Embellishment tends toward hot fix stones scattered across a skirt rather than full beadwork, though the fully beaded gowns are here too, and bows recur as a detail.

Colour

Red, black and navy run deepest, with light blue and royal close behind, and yellow and ivory carrying the lighter end.
